Accesskeys are keyboard shortcuts which allow users to navigate around the website without having to use a mouse.
If you have Internet Explorer use Alt + Accesskey + Enter. With other browsers, such as Firefox or Netscape, use Alt + Accesskey. If you use a Macintosh use Ctrl + Accesskey.
Planning Aid uses the UK Government recommended accesskeys:
1 Homepage
3 Sitemap
4 Search
8 Terms and conditions
9 Feedback
0 Access key details
S Skip to main navigation menu (for non-graphical browsers)
In addition, we also use the following accesskeys:
C Contact us
R Regional options
T Top of page
Tab keys
Repeatedly pressing the tab key selects the links and form controls of a page in the order in which they appear. We have changed the tab key order so that pressing tab once will take you to the search form.
